Any big plans for the weekend?
So it is FINALLY back to regular Spring weather here in Central IL; all last week it ranged from the low 30s to the mid 40s. DH and I are planning on getting some landscaping done outside this afternoon before one of my closest friends come for the weekend.
I'm SO excited to see her! Since we live in the same town that my college was in, most of my best college friends moved away after we graduated, so I don't have many girl friends close by. I make the most of my time with them when they make the hike to see me. I think we're going to go shopping (well, more like I'm going to tag along while she blows lots of money because that whole owning a house thing really eats into your checkbook), then grab some dinner at our favorite pizza place, and then head back to my house to have some more quality girl time.

Tomorrow I'm picking up my friend and taking her to Pittsburgh to Ikea. She just got engaged so I bought her a prepaid visa gift card to use there.She doesn't know where we're going yet.
Saturday DH's mom's side of the family is all coming over to our new house to paint. So that will help us out a lot.
Ugh, we just had to have some work done on our car and now we're broke, which means we won't be up to much this weekend. I'm going out to the bar with a couple friends tomorrow but I won't be drinking much.. other than that, I think we'll probably go play some disc golf. Unless it rains, which it is supposed to.
My friend's bridal shower is on Saturday, but it's a three hour drive so we won't be able to make it. So I'll be thinking of her that day.

I have 3 papers to write... UGH! DH new job is very time consuming so he will be working all weekend. We are going to try to head to Spring Fling- a carnival that my school puts on. I don't know if I feel up to it though so we will see.
As soon as DH gets home tonight (45 mins and counting) we are going to dip in the hot tub. (Well he will and I will wiggle my feet- I just don't feel right soaking in the hot water until the inevitable miscarriage happens)
