Did anyone watch this on TLC? I didn't want the show, but watched clips online, and I quite frankly don't understand it. I'm all for coupons, purchasing things at a great price, and getting things free. But what they do just seems wasteful.
Does anyone do this or know somebody who does? I'm kind of intrigued.

Re: Extreme Couponing
I watched it and I LOVE it!
I'll admit, I do the coupon thing, but ONLY for items that we actually like/use. After watching that show though, I need to up my game. I try to use a coupon when the item is on sale so i save more, but there's more to it, and I need to learn!! :-)
I completely agree with you Moleson. Yup, I too am a coupon clipper but only for things that we actually buy, or would like to buy.
Just the other day I bought my contact solution. Regular price was $14.96 for a 2-pack. I had a $5 off coupon, so I only paid $9.96 for 2 bottles. This should last me at least 2-3 months. Score!
I clip coupons when they are for something that I would normally be buying and I do try to watch for sales and the like to save money.
I do think that what some of them do is wasteful. I watched a clip on hulu from Nightline and it was disgusting to see the storage of toilet paper , deodorant, Jello, and salad dressings. I wish they would use their methods to donate to shelters and food banks that could really use them.
I do Costco paper products and canned goods but everything else is over the top. There is nothing wrong with hitting up sales and using coupons for things you will actually use and want to use.
