Gawd I hate that song. Rebecca Black is a giant no talent hack. At least Justin Bieber can sing and play guitar and stuff.
Morning!
MO, that picture you posted of C (well the back of her head) made me smile huge last night. I'm so very excited and happy for you. I really hope this works out for you.
Tonight we're off to the Food & Drink fest here in town with my mom and step-dad. We get in for free (yay connections!) but then have to pay for sample tickets. BUT, then we get to spend our evening walking around sampling beer and wine and yummy food. We might even walk down to help offset the nibbles.
Tomorrow we're going a few hours away to have dinner with my mom's family to celebrate my Grandpa's 80th birthday. The cousins all went in together to get him an engraved watch, so it should be nice!
Sunday I just want to get some stuff done around the house. The yard is in desperate need of a good raking, and I'm weeks behind in laundry.
What's everyone up to this weekend?
Re: Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday, today is Friday, Friday
Ugh, I'm about to step into a 2.5 hr town hall.... gross. I'll be making a list of what needs to get done this weekend. Not too much on the agenda... a run, grocery store, netflix action, cleaning...
have fun at the festival raynes
hope youre having a blast MO!

And what a great Friday it is! The sun is out shining again here, and I just spent my lunch time soaking up the rays. It's supposed to be like this all weekend, so I plan on getting out and taking advantage of it. Doing what, I don't know. DH is out of town, so I'm on my own. It should be a quiet relaxing weekend, which I'm looking forward to after all the travel and jetlag of the past few weeks.
Happy Friday all! Thinking of you and C, MO.

Woot Woot, I am so glad it is finally Friday.
The only thing we have planned is a game night with friends tomorrow night. We have a sitter over night, so we will also be hopefully catching up on some well needed sleep.
Raynes have fun.
MO - I also hope you are having a grand old time!
I have stll not heard that song. I've been good at avoiding it so far.
Boo to Friday. This is only day 3 of my 9 day stretch. Plus I'm on call tonight and tomorrow night.
DH is going to a meeting in Toronto after work today and won't be home until tomorrow night. Yay to having the bed to myself but boo to missing him and having to wake up early tomorrow. Also, with my hearing problem, I can't hear my pager go off so I really hope I don't get any calls after I go down for bed.
It's rainy today so I hit up the gym for a 5.5 mile run and now i'm off to work! Hoping I get my letter. *fingers crossed*
Good Morning,
I just had a tearful goodbye with my little munchkin. She had a bit of a meltdown this morning she was afraid that once I dropped her off at school she wouldn't get to see us again. She was holding my hand extra tight the whole way we walked to class, then she didn't want to take any of her stuff off. I may or may not have had to smile and as soon as she turned around cry.
Tonight we're having pizza and a movie night.
In my adult life, I'm dropping off an application for another district, and picking up some little things I need.
Did you guys see Stephen Colbert's cover of this song on on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? Hilarious. Link.
Good morning, all! Tonight's a gym night, then it's a regular weekend (chores, gym, reading, writing) until Sunday; Josh has to be at a meeting downtown for most of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I don't have much planned for Sunday evening, but it'll probably include macaroni and cheese (he can't stand it).
Other than that, just waiting to see if I get to go to work on Monday or not.
Yay, Friday! I'm starting out my weekend with a haircut this afternoon. It got rescheduled on me yesterday, but that's ok because it means that I will have a shorter work day today. We have Kyle's best friend's birthday celebration tomorrow night. I expect that we will spend a good part of Sunday recovering from that. Kyle has also invited friends over to watch the Cubs game with us on Sunday. My sister may be around this weekend and if so I'll probably try to visit with her at some point on Saturday. Otherwise, I'll be doing the usual cleaning and laundry. I think my quiet weekends are officially over until November.
MO, enjoy your weekend with C!
We don't have anything on the calendar for this weekend, I may get a much needed pedicure on Saturday and we have movie passes and a living social deal for Indian, so it may be super cheap date night.
There is knitting after church on Sunday, so I'll probably do that. I haven't touched the scarf I'm working on in over two weeks.

The cold that I was praying wouldn't come finally showed up last night. I passed out at 930 with Vicks on my feet (someone told me it works) and some new Tylenol night time cold medicine. I'm hoping if I hit it hard in the beginning it won't get worse.
I'm waiting to find out how an emergency meeting is going right now to see how much of a disaster my weekend will be at the college. I'm so glad our busy season is short lived around here. No one seems to know how to plan ahead.
Tomorrow is some much needed girl time and the boys will be out playing disc golf in the nicer weather we've been having. I'm hoping to soak up a few rays while chatting with some hot cocoa or something. Then it's game night with friends.
Sunday will be a working day and a total disaster. Hopefully it won't be as bad as it seems, but I highly doubt it.
Happy Friday!
I'm feeling much better today about things... and I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate all of you and being able to use you as a sounding board. Seriously, you rock my world.
Plus, I dropped another 2 pounds this week. Huzzah for packed lunches and walking home!
I'm brushing up my resum? this weekend, writing recommendation letters for my student teacher (which won't be glowing, unfortunately, but decent enough... the whole thing is pretty awkward) and generally plotting my plan of attack.

Good morning, ladies.
I'm working tomorrow, then something outdoors Sunday - depends on the weather, since there's a decent chance of snow. We're trying to decide what we're going to do with the backyard after the deck demolition. It's a big yard (lot = 8,000 square feet), and there's 1,200 square feet of deck to replace. Big project, and we don't want to spend a lot of cash we won't get back when we try to sell next year. What to do?
Have a great day, everyone!
Morning ladies. Friday really couldn't come soon enough this week. Today should be a busy but manageable day. Plus, I'm getting together with a friend for lunch, and I'm excited to catch up. We work in the same building but for different companies, and we seriously never see each other. This evening B is off to a concert, and I'm gonna take it easy. I've been feeling super exhausted and stressed out, so I think I may just watch a girly movie and go to sleep early. Tomorrow night, a friend is having a wine, steak, chocolate cake tasting party for his 30th. The rest of the weekend involves some errand running and catching up on some work projects.
Good Morning!
I am so glad it is Friday.
Today is our baseball home opener and I am so bummed we aren't going. It seems like everyone we know is going.
I will be running a bunch of errands for work so hopefully that helps my Friday go fast.
Tomorrow I am going to an Easter egg hunt with my nieces and shopping. Sunday will probably be the typical chore day.
MO-I hope you have a great weekend. Maybe it is the crazy hormones but the story about dropping her off made me tear up. She is so lucky to have you!
Good morning ladies!
This afternoon I need to do some major shopping! I have 8 b-day parties to attend between now and the end of May, a wedding shower, a wedding, and a graduation party. Also add in there Mother's Day and Easter gifts for my nephews. I'm hoping to get as many gifts today as possible.
Tomorrow I'm going to do some yard work and try to make a plan and take some measurements for the vegetable garden we want to put in. Sunday we're going to a party for J's Grandpa's 85th Birthday.
SO excited for you, MO!
I'm fixing to head to work, and then tonight we have a softball game!
Tomorrow I work and then we are going to a concert thingy with some friends, I'm not sure what Sunday will bring, other than chores and grocery shopping!
I'm so glad it's Friday. After an unexpected series of events last night, I'm taking the day off work today.
I'm supposed to meet up with my friends for dinner tonight, which will happen as long as we don't get that big rain storm we're expecting.
Tomorrow is my baby shower with my side of the family. It's supposed to be a surprise, but I found out about it by accident. I'm still debating whether or not to act surprised or let them know I knew about it.
Sunday, we're going shopping for a few of the essentials that we still don't have. Since I know about Saturday, hopefully it will be a shorter list than the one I have now.
Hope you ladies have a great weekend!
I have been looking forward to the weekend since Monday morning. My body clock is still all messed up, I'm hoping to get it straightened out this weekend. I've fallen asleep on the couch between 8-9pm every night this week.
DH and I have tickets to see Lewis Black tomorrow night downtown. We're hoping its a nice day, so we can enjoy some wine tasting around the city before the show.
If it happens to be a crappy day, the game plan is a trip to Home Depot and/or Lowes to choose paint colors!
Morning Ladies! Pretty busy weekend planned...DH just sent me a looooong list of things we need to buy, and places we need to go. We are taking a break Saturday night to meet up with friends in the city.
Have fun this weekend MO! I'll be thinking of you & C.
