Where to go for hardshell crabs on Eastern Shore?
I've always heard about St. Michaels, MD but I've never done this. Does anyone have a recommendation on where/when to go?
Re: Where to go for hardshell crabs on Eastern Shore?
This! My SIL lives near here and that is where we go every year.
I loove Harris'. It's still a little ways from St. Michael's though, if you were planning a daytrip there, but it's on the way. There's also The Crab Deck there in Graysonville.
In St. Michael's there's a really popular place called The Crab Claw. We've never been there but it looks cute (and kind of pricey).
We like St. Michaels Crab & Steak House. It's really nice if you can sit outside, but it's not that great an atmosphere inside. http://www.stmichaelscrabhouse.com/
I am meh about Crab Claw, but it's sure jam packed with tourists every year.
Town Dock is a nice restaurant too but not sure they have hard shell crabs.
Are you going now because I am not sure they'd have crabs - at least not crabs from MD.
