Happy Friday! Any Fun ideas for the Kids today?
It is Friday, though I wish it was sunny and warm. Probably will be taking my daughter to the Meijer Garden's today.....maybe we will wait until it is a bit dryer, and my husband is home so I can have the camera (he is in Augusta, so I am a single mom for this whole week and a half). We will see.
If we don't go to the Garden's is there anything else to do to take DD? I know there is probably a lot, but that was the focus for today, so we will see.
Re: Happy Friday! Any Fun ideas for the Kids today?
Actually it is probably a good thing not to go to the Gardens this week because of spring break. Spring break is CRAZY there - it will be that way for a lot of places. The good thing is that it is Friday, so most families have probalby gotten fun stuff out of the way by now and spent their money...unless some parents were only able to take off today to spend with their kids.
Some suggestions
Mall - Barnes and Nobles. My girls love the train table. If the play area doesn't gross you out, you can do that.
the library...I went to Kentwood library for an event and breezed through the kids area and it looks like they have a fun kids section.
Krispy Kreme - hee he. I took my girls a few weeks ago for the first time and they loved it.
Trying looking at this site for ideas http://www.westmichiganmommy.com/
or GRnow for spring break activities.
How old is DD?
Yeah it's Friday!
Kerco - lil one is so cute!
We go to the children's museum once a week, hours of fun for Ben
We are getting step daughters for Easter for about 4 days or so. I am excited. I told Mike that I want to get bed sets for their bunk beds and I can get whatever I want. Their room is painted a dark green color so I am thinking about tie dye sets or a pink or purple or flowers. I am excited! LOL
I think Tangled is still at Woodland Mall, but am not positive.
I just talked to my friend. She is going to make blankets for the girls. We are going to go shopping for the fabric tonight and will pick up sheets to match too
If you or your friend is handy with a sewing machine and the girls sleep in bunk beds - you should make bunk bed sheets. The fitted and flat sheets are attached on the side that would be against the wall.
Here is a commercial version:

I think there are tutorials out there to make them yourself, but i think these would be really handy for bunk bed making.
Is this the randoms for today?
The interview went really well yesterday. One person canceled, but the other person I thought was a really good fit.
Have another one today at 2:30!
I wasn't sure, so I haven't posted. Glad to hear that the interview went well!
I think my post kind of tipped the thread in a random direction. Inseparable sheets on bunk beds - yeah that seems pretty random. Sorry! hahaha
Randoms it is!
Have Fun!!!
Have fun!
Randoms=why not? LOL.
Hope you all have a good weekend! It is supposed to be nice tomorrow (hopefully) I am planning on trying to get some yard work done. We will see how that goes.
