random movie and TV show poll
Name a movie that you were suprised you really enjoyed
And a movie that you thought you'd like, but didn't
Same for TV shoes
Re: random movie and TV show poll
Plesantly Surprised: Iron Man
Disappointed: Gnomeo and Julet
I'm not a big TV watcher.
Movies:
Pleasantly surprised: Take Me Home Tonight
Disappointed: Zombieland is the last movie we watched that we ended up turning off
TV:
Pleasantly surprised: The Gates - I loved it but just found out it got cancelled.
Disappointed: Louie - I loved Lucky Louie but really hated Louie
Pleasantly Surprised--Sex and the City 2 (it is super cheesy, but so were the shows)
Diappointed--Inception
TV Shows--I love Outsourced and thought I would hate it. Perfect Couples stinks badly and they need to cut it out of that wonderful line up ASAP
Surprised I liked: Burlesque
Thought I would like but didn't: The Fighter. I love Christian Bale, but I couldn't get through the first 30 min of this movie.
Don't watch a lot of regular TV shows.
My Cooking Blog
It got cancelled....I'm with you though...it was terrible. I on the other hand want Outsourced to get cancelled too. I have tried to watch it a few times and haven't laughed once. (sorry)
Pleasantly Surprised--In Bruges
Diappointed--Source Code
TV Shows--I love Studio 60 with Matthew Perry.
Movie I was surprised I enjoyed: Zombieland. I usually hate anything blood, guts and gore, but something about this movie amuses me
Movie I was disappointed with: Due Date. I expected it to be a lot funnier.
TV show I was surprised I enjoyed: Modern Family
TV show I was disappointed with: Joey. I know it's been quite a while ago, but it's the only one that really sticks out as a disappointment

I don't get to see too many movies but here are my picks.
Surprised I Liked: Easy A - I don't normally like these types of movies but I actually got into this one.
Disappointed In: Avatar - OK, I am ready for the backlash but it wasn't the story line I was disappointed in. It was the 3D part. I don't there were enough "3D" scenes in the movie and the ones they did have were just meh.
TV - Surprised: Being Human - DH was all excited about this show so I automatically figured I wouldn't like it. Turn out, I love it! It's really good.
Disappointed: Outsourced - We got 2 episodes into the 1st season and I just couldn't do it anymore. It's just not funny!
Movie Surprise - Pirate Radio. Also, Eat Pray Love. I tried to read the book and didn't finish it, which is unusual for me.
Movie Disappointment - Inception. It did nothing for me.
TV show Surprise - Pawn Stars. I love the history behind all the items.
TV disappointment - I tried to start watching The Sopranos. I think I forced myself through the second season before I gave up. Oh well.
