Here's the short version of a long story:
13 years ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. It was a miserable time because everything was so painful back then. She came out great and was cancer-free up until 2 weeks ago when the doctor noticed 2 masses. The first mass was small and the doctor decided to do a biopsy to take it out. The second mass was bigger, so my mom is going into surgery tomorrow to have it removed. After the surgery, she will just have to go through radiation. Please send your thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery and speedy recovery period (and for hopes that this is her last bout with cancer!) She is a very strong woman and an inspiration to me everyday.
Please do not mention this on FB, as my mom hasn't told everyone on there.

Sorry you and she have to deal with this. Hope the surgery goes well and she never has to deal with this again.
