Oh dear (ringy's cat, Sherlock, related)
So, I'm teaching Romeo and Juliet right now, and... well... we seem to have something like that going on here in Casa Kaesha.
We live on the second floor of a converted convent. Our neighbours on one side have a cat we call Lord Fluffington in spite of the fact that his owners call him Emmie and refer to her as a girl.
Anyway. Her eyes and Sherlock's met last night while he was sitting in our bedroom window. They stared at each other, and then they both started meowing at each other.
It was not the meowing of cats protecting territory.It was the meowing of cats in love. Emmie's owners had to drag her back inside. And now she's sitting at the french doors in their living room staring up at Sherlock who staring down.
What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east and Sherlock is the sun!
Poor Sherlock. Unrequited love is always hard.
