What do/did you call your grandparents?
I had a convo with my SIL about it yesterday and then Kearstin's confession post made my think of it again.
What do/did you call your grandparents and/or great-grandparents?
Me: Grandma/Gram and Grandpa/Gramps; Great grandmother was Mor-Mor (Swedish for mother's mother; so my dad grew up calling her that and technically she'd have been my Mor-Mor-Mor, but we said Mor-Mor)

My grandparents are Grammi & Papa. Even though my cousins call them Nanny and Papa...my sister and I are the oldest, so she's Grammi, not Nanny!
My grandfather, who passed away when I was 8, was Pa. I never met that grandmother, but she would have been Mimere (sounds like mim-air - I always was told it was the French word for grandmother, but Google says differently).
All three of my great grandparents that I met were Mim and Pip.
Dottie (yes, the dog) "calls" my parents Grandma & Grandpa, and my nephew stuck with that. So that's what Carter will call them, too.

Grandma's are all Grandma, and my grandpa that is still alive is Papa. I never met my other grandpa, and called both of my great grandpas, Grandpa also. Nothing original here.
DH's Grandma is "Grandma Firstname" and Grandpa is "Papa Firstname" and his neice and nephew call his mom "grandma lastname."
I remember my friend in school called her grandparents Nana and Duhduh (literaly pronounced duh-duh), and we called them the same thing whenever we were around them.

Pappaw (pa-paw) - great grandfather on my moms dad side
Nunie (noon-e) - great grandmother on my moms dad side
Nauna (naw-na) - great grandmother on my dads dad side
Pop - great grandfather on my dads dad side
...I didn't know any others so I don't know their names.
We called them Grama and Grampa, and that's what my kids will call my parents.
Chris' niece and nephew call his parents Nana and Papa, but I've told him that our kids won't being doing that.
My niece calls my parents Mama and Papa, but she's starting to be able to say Grama and Grampa.

I only knew my grandmother on my mom's side, and she was Granny Anne. My mom was raised by a neighbor from 7-17 (her mom was in a mental institution after her husband died) and we called her Keeba. She was treated like a 2nd grandmother
On my dad's side, I named my grandfather Poppa and grandmother Murse (she wanted to be called grandmother, but I heard everyone call her Margaret, and I turned it into Murse as a toddler - I renamed everyone/everything when I was young). Murse died when I was 6 and Poppa remarried when I was 12, but I just called his wife by her name, Charlotte.
I also named my aunt Lilie Mimi when I was young, and still call her that to this day.
I just met Steve's grandmother last month, and everyone calls her Gram-gram.
Mummu or iso?iti (paternal grandmother) and Vaari or isois? (paternal grandfather).
(depending on your dialect, mummu, mummo, mummi, mummeli are Finnish for grandmother. I don't know other Finnish pronunciations of vaari)
Gramma (maternal grandmother) and Grampa (maternal grandfather).
My maternal grandmother is my only grandparent still alive.
My mum and dad have already said they want to be "mummu" and "vaari" to their grandkids someday. I might try to convince my dad to go by "ukki" instead of "vaari".
With my mom's side, we were pretty normal with calling them Grandma and Grandpa.
My dad's parents we called Gran and Papa (pronounced PawPaw). My dad called his grandfather Gan-Gan.
