Just thinking about Moshi

Anybody else?  She always was so witty and had some good posts over on the TK, and I was hoping she's doing "ok" since her mother's passing.  Moshi I hope you're coping alright! :-/

Re: Just thinking about Moshi

  • I periodically think of the girls who were with us on TK, like Moshi and Michelle.  I'm friends with Michelle on FB, but she never made the switch over to TN.  I hope Moshi is also coping alright.

    Do the creep.
  • I also appreciate Moshi's wit.  I thought she did pop in from time to time?

How about our moderator from TK?

  • Oh you ladies are so sweet <3

How are you lovely ladies doing? I miss everyone! I promise to try to come around here more often.

I'm still around, life here has gotten insane.  Once everything quieted down after Mom's funeral I really stepped my research into high gear.  I've been working about 100 hours a week most weeks, and I'm ready to drop.

Aside from that, exciting-ish things that have gone on..

    1. I trained for, and ran, and finished my first half marathon.  Woo!

    2. DH and I had our first big fight, ever.  We've been searching for and trying to buy a new car, and let's just say we've been less than successful.  We were thisclose to buying a Mazda3 hatch but they drove it 300 miles from another dealer and it had chips and scratches on it.  I was furious and we walked away from it.  But DH was the one who settled the price with the salesperson and didn't ask important questions (like, where is the car coming from?), and I was furious with the whole thing.  Lessons learned: a. don't buy a family car by yourself, b. communication is always important, c. Car dealers are azzholes (no offense if you know/love a car dealer)

    3. I got a new tattoo!  Well, still in the process of getting it.  I went in yesterday for session 1 of 2, and what's left is blending the colors and bringing the colors all the way out to the outline.  The yellow rose was always my mom's favorite flower, and the ivy is symbolic of the tradition that every woman on my mom's side of the family has had ivy in their wedding bouquets, and afterwards rooted it and potted it to keep it going (very symbolic of marriage).  And this is my own way of keeping my ivy going.

  • I was just thinking about you yesterday too. I don't remember why though.

I love that tattoo, it's sooo pretty!
