Cash for Gold Parties!!

I went to one tonight with a bag of crap. Some gold chains, charms, pendants, a few sterling rings and walked out with $545. Im in SHOCK.

Have one or go to one. You'd be surprised how much you get and for what. There were ladies leaving with $2000, $1400, $400 CASH for stuff they were embarrassed to give the lady.

Im having one in June, so mark your calenders ladies and dig up all your old jewelry and make some serious cash. Ill send out an evite.

I also have a sterling silver flatware set in a fancy wooden box that my ILs got from a garage sale and gave to us years ago, the lady said those things are worth $1500+. DH wont let me sell it. Im pissed. Its in our closet, we've never used it, never will and it takes up space. Im tempted to empty it but leave the box in the closet. He'll never know.

Re: Cash for Gold Parties!!

  • I actually sold some gold today, and made some good cash off of a small amount of old jewelry. But silver and sterling flatware?! I didn't know you could made good money off of that too. Crazy. I'm down for the party :)

Oh yes, you can make good money off of those as well.  Ask my neighbor's son who robbed my mother last summer...he made great money off of it (amongst other things).  I researched the cost to replace it for insurance, you would be amazed at how much it is worth based upon the replacement value (especially if it is "older")

Siobhan and Melanie...thanks!  It was really horrible and all happened around the time of my dd's birth.  The sad thing is, he was our neighbor's son...out neighbor who we have written out of our lives.  I mean after all my mom and dad did for his mother...and to steal his wedding ring?  the only bracelent my mother ever got from her deceased grandchild?  ugh...i could go on... I hope he enjoyed the heroin.  ***.

And a nameplate and name ring?  I must have been way out of the loop!  The most I have is a signet ring with an initial and diamond chip!  That could totally go.....
