Nurses...where to buy those black clog shoes?
Where do you buy them locally?
Any recs to get them somewhere cheaper?
Do they last a long time? Durable? Comfortable?
I'm not an RN but work in a Hospital and they look like they'd be really comfortable. I've seen people wear them here with their business casual clothes which is why I'm interested in them.

Re: Nurses...where to buy those black clog shoes?
Schueller shoes has the Dansko brand.
Everyone I work with wears them and swears by them.
:::Our Adoption Journey:::
Evan James was born 1/24/13 and matched with us 2/20/13. The LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
I always worn Danskos too. The Walking Company at Rosedale has them.
And I'm drooling over a couple of pairs right now.
I work with a couple nurses that swear by them, but I can't get over not wearing normal running shoes.
You can typically buy them at any scrubs store.
Schuler's is where I used to buy mine. I loved them for a long time, but I found that with high arches, they don't work well long term, and you can't fit most orthotics in them.
Now I wear MBT's (you can google them) and I LOVE them. Basically what the Skechers shape ups are based on, but the real thing. I wear them for a 12 hr shift with plantar fascitis and heel spurs and my feet usually don't even hurt after work.

PS - I'm sure they'll tell you when you buy them....but you do need to gradually break them in. They are a very hard sole and a few styles have a decent arch support, neither of which you are probably used to, so start off with just an hour or 2 a day.
The doctor I work with and a co-worker wear them and love them. They got them at Schuler.
I just can't get over how my coworker can't pick up her feet when she walks in them. She sounds like a horse walking in them. When she wears her normal shoes I can't hear her coming.
