  • *yawnz* Morning...

Chris and I are going to see the Red Sox lose tonight... hopefully it won't get rained out.

Other than that not much -- this coming weekend is busy, as is every weekend in April it seems, so I'm looking forward to all that. =)

  • Our friend from Maine is coming to visit on Friday, so it will be nice to see her. Not much going on other than that!

  • We don't have too much planned, just our normal weekly activities.  We are leaving for Florida next week so I am excited about that but not about all the prep work that we will need to do this weekend, I probably should start packing now...
  • Dr appointment today, which will be good to get out of the way

Tomorrow I'm heading to NYC with my mom & sister to do dinner on Tuesday night and see Wonderland on Broadway on Wednesday.

Saturday we have a wedding which should be fun.

  • Shaw should be going home this week!!

Also, book club and losing more weight, because I'm totally back on track. :) We read The Hunger Games this month and it was freaking awesome.

I'm heading to Atlanta on Saturday to visit my cousin's family.

    Should be an awesome week.

Such a great book... I have Catching Fire and Mockingjay already and I want/need to start them soon, but re-reading A Game of Thrones has kinda taken over for now...

  • Mohegan Sun on Saturday night to see George Lopez for a friend's birthday. I don't really pay attention to George Lopez so I don't know that I'm particularly looking forward to seeing him, but I'm excited for a night down at Mohegan.

Maybe ordering our dining room table this week since we didn't get around to it this weekend.

I got Catching Fire on my Nook as soon as I finished The Hunger Games, but I havent started yet either. I may even buy the series to put on my bookshelf, if the rest are as good as the first one. I've got two books to read before I start, Foundation (Asimov) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Hopefully I can get through those quickly.

Mary-why are you having surgery? I must have missed this...I was out of town all last week and at a conference, and didn't have much time to check in. Hope everything is okay!

I'm having another lap.  Not thrilling.

  • Wednesday afternoon - heading back home from Syracuse

Sometime this week my package from Amazon is supposed to arrive and it contains a thermometer for charting since my current one sucks and Adele's 19 CD.

Sunday is my co worker's baby shower and I've never been to one so it should be fun.

Other than that, just looking forward to the weekend!

:-(   That's NOT fun. I hope everything goes smoothly!

This week is the kickoff of another quarter at work, so I'm not really looking forward to the increased workload. But, I'm hoping to make some progress in our kitchen this week (we're re-finishing the cabinets before we get a new counter and tiled floor!!). It's Michael's birthday tomorrow, so I'm going to try and make special cake for him.

I have friends that have gone and have had tons of fun there! They always recommend to go the first day if you can (sometimes it's 2 days, I think) and try to go early.

If you're driving back home on 70, you'll drive by me (give or take 5 miles) on your way home. Wave or something! :)

  • Pretty quiet week for me, but looking forward to the new Tina Fey book arriving in the mail in a few days.

And I'm running the Boston Marathon 5k race on sunday with B and some friends. That will be fun. We get to cross the marathon finish line, which I am dorkily excited about. Then we're grabbing brunch after cause the races are always at ridiculously early hours.

Oh, and I have a long weekend, thanks to a MA holiday called Patriots Day. And since there are 5 fridays this month, I get an extra paycheck so psyched for that.

  • absolutely nothing. Heading back to work tomorrow is going to royally suck, it will be a freaking war zone. I'm estimating well over 200 emails. Although it will be a short week... Just have to survive 3.5 days....

We're actually going on the 4th or 5th day, because of when the Maker's Mark party is. The first two days you have to pay to get in but the last 3 are free. They say they keep bringing new stuff to the sale several times each day so it's not like everything goes at once, but... we'll see.

  • The beginning of the week is just me finishing up some things for my art show fundraiser this weekend. I'm super excited for it.

Wed my bm that moved to NOLA is coming. We'll probably hang out on Thursday night.

Friday I'm eating lunch with my pastor's wife, then making 150 cakeballs for the art show.

Saturday is the big event, followed by my gm's birthday party.

  • We are putting the baby room together FINALLY the next three days- hoping that my dad will finish the changing table and bring the dresser this weekend. We need to find a kitchen table pronto, sitting on the couch is really getting old.

other than that- hoping that the week's weather is nice, my sister runs on Saturday at Cincinnati so I am hoping to see her one last meet before baby lee arrives.
