Last week was a whirlwind, but it was great!
We finally closed on our house Tuesday, and spent the rest of the week moving in. It would've been faster, but our babysitter was finishing her last week of internship, so she wasn't available at all. It was interesting trying to move with little ones in tow. Jeffery actually loved it because we rented a truck with a ramp, and he loved to run up and down and "help" carry boxes. Too cute.
There are TONS of projects because I doubt anything in this house has been changed since it was built in 1989. It's in great shape, but needs some serious painting and updating. The kitchen is relatively small, so I'm still working on sorting through stuff and putting things away. But we now have an "official" office separate from our guest bedroom, which is nice.
On a side note, DH got me a kindle for my birthday (delivery Wed)! Any book suggestions?
Re: I missed you ladies!
Congrats on the house!
It's been dead around here if you haven't noticed.
Congratulations on the house! I know you are so glad to be past all the BS and move on to more exciting things like decorating!
I recently put a bunch of books on hold to pick up at the library if they ever become available:
The Hunger Games
The Southern Vampire Series
Water for Elephants
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
