I survived!
I've got some nasty bruises, and an extremely painful sunburn (major sunscreen fail on my part) but I survived my first camping trip! DH didn't injure himself, which is major progress since he almost always hurts himself when there's lots of drinking involved. Floating down the river was a blast, but I am officially not a "sleeping outdoors" kind of girl. I'm sure we'll do it again but we'll probably only stay one night (DH was done after one day too). Now I'm just trying to function normally since I can barely move, sleep, etc. I don't usually burn so I am a big whiny baby right now. 
Re: I survived!
This is my DH. Whenever we would have parties at our house during college he would always end up injured. He has broken his nose and chipped his tooth on the bottom of the pool.
Glad you had a good time. I like camping but have only been for one night.
HA! I'm glad to hear my DH isn't the only one. I have plenty of stories, and he has plenty of scars to show for them. He's fallen out of trees, off a church roof, split his chin on a speaker box, had multiple concussions, etc. Oh, and he did all of this BEFORE he had health insurance. Now that he's insured he hasn't hurt himself once.
Sounds like fun!
DH and I need to try this. I love camping if it's with the right company. I've never actually camped with DH. lol
