I got this print for Christmas from my in-laws, unframed (don't get me started)...
I am going to order a mat and frame online for it, I found a place that will do custom mats for not an arm and a leg but I'm not sure what color to pick.
TIA

Re: Decorating Help
Thanks ladies, that's what I was thinking because it is busy.
Any thoughts on the frame color? I was leaning towards black...

Depends on where you are going to put it. What color is the room and the furniture?
Thanks Jo, I really love the print, it's actually of the island I grew up on and where my parents still live.
It's going in my kitchen I think, there's really nothing on the walls right now, the counters are brown w/almond appliances, so I think the black w/white combo will work well. Plus this is just an apartment we're living in so I really don't want to make it match what's going on in there since we aren't going to live there forever.
ETA: the walls are off white.

When we had a print matted and framed at a shop, the lady told us that as long the mat/frame/print look good together, then the picture should be able to go anywhere in your house. She said to not match frames/mats to the wall/decor color. Just get them to match/coordinate with the print and it will look good anywhere.
