Re: PG/Mom Check-In
I have my Glucose test today. I am scared out of my mind (I am at a higher risk, since my father has Type 2). I know if I have GD, then I deal with it, but...but...but...I DON'T WANNA HAVE IT.
And I don't want to drink that crap.
And I don't want to miss work to do it.
:Crosses arms and pouts: I just don't want to.
I just want to AW my DD who got her report card on Friday. She is reading at a 2nd grade level and mastering second grade math concepts. She's destined for nerd-dom, but that's ok because DH and I will be excellent guides for her since we're both major nerds. I'm taking her to see Hop on Saturday to celebrate.
Oh, and DS has learned to say "stinky".
Zoe suddendly started spitting up the past couple of days. She is a little fussier than usual, but nothing crazy. She has only spit up a handful of times before this. I am just going to keep an eye on her and if it gets worse and it causes her a lot of pain I'll call the doctor.
We go to Shriners on Thursday for her hip dysplasia. I am hoping her hips are even better and that they tell us she can at least wear her harness 12 hours on, 12 hours off. I can't wait till this thing is gone! It has suddenly started to bother be this past week and I have no idea why!
I am still feeling great. I have noticed that my food intake has to be smaller portions as I feel miserable after eating.
My stomach is always hard it seems, which I hope is a normal thing. I dont have any pain associated with it or tightness that comes and goes, its just always hard.
Need to start thinking about names eventually. I am at a loss. All those baby name websites are so overwhelming. I just wish there was an easier one to use. I feel like I almost need a book to go through to highlight things I like. We are going to use James as the middle name as a bunch of people are named that in our family so that takes care of the use of a "family name".
Thanks Jen, this makes me feel so much better knowing this stomach hardness is normal. I figured it was but you never know, especially with this being my first pregnancy. I just wasnt sure if it was normal at 25 weeks although I am over half way through.
