outdoor picture questions for spring

I am looking for a place to take some outdoor pictures of my girls.  I would love to find a field of blue bonnets or some pretty spring flowers, so any of you know of a place?

Re: outdoor picture questions for spring

  • I enjoy the butterfly garden out at the Saylorville Lake Visitors Center. It is beautiful in the spring because they plant a lot of early season flowers!
  • You could look for some prairie land around Des Moines. The Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge would be an awesome place to get photos taken! When all the prairie flowers are in the bloom it will be gorgeous!
