party? I wish it was a party.
It went well. Since she didn't get a good nap on Saturday she was pretty fussy when we got there. She sat with us when we ate dinner, but then before J left she put her to bed since she wasn't going to make it much longer. So, for an hour or so, we got to listen to Livee talk to herself and her babydoll on the monitor. It was just about the cutest thing ever.
All in all, we were successful, but we didn't have to do much.
I'm glad it went well! Nice that J put her to bed before leaving! The one time DH and I have babysat together was for his godson and godson's sister and by the time we got there, they were asleep and their parents got home before they woke up, so we didn't have to do anything. But I was still nervous that they'd wake up and not be comforted by us because we aren't their parents.
Listening to them on the monitor is cute though!
(I saw the pics on FB of J's husband's party and assumed it was this weekend, but maybe it was before.)
