Question of the day!

Did you have an imaginary friend growing up? If so did they have a name?

Re: Question of the day!

  • I was sadly unoriginal.  My imaginary friend was Alvin (the chipmunk).

  • Heck yes!! I don't remember the name, but I remember always talking to them and asking for advice etc. But at least I didn't have drop dead Fred for an imaginary friend.

I did. I don't remember the name, it wasn't anything basic...making it harder for me to remember. But I did have one.

And oh Drop Dead Fred that movie is awesome.

  • I did not. :O(

But my little sister did, and its name was Tinko. (or maybe she was mis-pronouncing Tinkle, lol)

  • No imaginary friends for me... wasn't that creative. All my dolls had names though, and had tremendous intrigues.

That's funny!  If it makes you feel better, I had the following (which were not imaginary):

Three hamsters named Hammy, Hammy 2, and Hammy 3
A stuffed animal dog named Puppy
A stuffed animal aligator named Ali

How terrible is that???  I mean, come on, Hammy 3?  By then, I couldn't have come up with something better?

  • I had one briefly, but only because a bunch of my classmates had them, so I tried it for a while. No clue what I named him.

  • I didn't have a traditional imaginary friend, but I thought a gorilla lived in my closet and came out and played with me and Wally (my stuffed walrus) at night.

I was so convincing, that my pawpaw made my dad go and check my closet because he was SURE something was in there.  lmao

  • I had an imaginary sister named Ashley.  She had red hair and a southern accent and was kind of my scapegoat-I turned out the lights in the girls room when girls I didn't like were in there and said but Ashley did it-not realizing there was a visible Ashley in our class

  • I had 3 - Mouse, Monkey, and Cousin Sara.
  • I did, and she was AWESOME!  Her name was Moxie Cowgirl.

Moxie was a lot of things: she was a supermodel, a spy, an emergency medic, and a rock star, as well as, obviously, a cowgirl, duh.  Basically, Moxie was everything I wanted to be.  She had hot pink hair and shiny red cowgirl boots and I got really mad if the grownups sat on her.  Yeah, I may have been a slightly disturbed kid...

Moxie Cowgirl, coincidentally is also the name on the business license for what will one day be my retail store.  So now, when I expand my candle company into a full boutique, you will all know the story behind its name.

  • I didn't have one, but when my niece was about four she had an imaginary life I think.  She had another mom, that she called her "brown mom" who had yellow hair and she lived in a pink house and had like 54 brothers and sisters.  She totally believed this, it was a bit strange.  She doesn't remember it now when you tell her about it.

  • This is how lame I was....

I pretended that I had an imaginary friend.
In other words, I had a friend that did, and I wanted one too, but didn't really imagine one. So I pretended that I did.

    Ermmm...yea.
