Things I learned:
Derek cannot be trusted with looking into mechanical problems around the house. "I think it's working fine" does not bode well for a hot water heater.
Meka gets jealous if I take Chloe outside and don't bring her too.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Things I learned this weekend.
If it is hot out, driving in my car, with the top down for an hour with black seats can burn your back and your butt.
Drinks in Tiki man glasses really do make things better. (coconut rum and pineapple juice may have something to do with that)
I am to old for the dancing kinds of clubs. I've never been the dancing type and this tiger can't change her stripes.

-Dark chocolate really is a natural laxative.
-It is not a good idea to eat a whole bar of dark chocolate the night before a 12 mile run.
This, except change McDonalds to Wawa.
I also learned how easy it is to spend $500 in 20 minutes at Lowes.
YAY Mo! Glad it went well!
Things I learned:
-DH gets more projects done when I go away for this weekend....which means a)he misses me, and b) I enable him to be lazy too often.
-Education conferences are way more fun when you go with friends and they involve alcohol.

This is me. When I have the house to myself I create projects. One time DH came home to the house all rearranged. Walls painted and pictures swapped around.
Oh no...I should clarify--I do projects when we are both home....he just tends to watch me do them. It is only when I am gone that he does them on his own. Like this weekend, he primed our entryway. I have spent the last month painting every room in our upstairs alone...apparently if I had gone out of town, he would have done them.
