I saw the previous post and am storing that info away. I bought a new suit have sopiers of my resume. I have reviewed the schools website (this is a teaching position) looked up the reading program as I was not familiar with it. I have been teaching for 9 years and this is my first opportunity since moving to Ohio to get out of a charter. I love my students but I need more stability. I would love better hours right now my day is 7-4 that is just my time with kids not actually doing grading.
How do I explain if it comes up why I want to leave the charter school system?
Any advice?
Re: Teacher Interview Help
Looking forward to getting back to my first passion, regular public school, where I can reach the widest range of students.
Or, probably if you wanted to be totally honest "Looking for a better home/work balance"

What are you looking at?
If our lousy governor has his way all we will have in Ohio is charter schools
It's not looking good for education in Ohio right now. Please make sure you're registered to vote and sign a petition for a referendum to put SB5 on the ballot in November.
I know this has nothing to do with your question but it has everything to do with what's going to happen to education in this state if the darn thing doesn't get repealed.
