F/U to scary meeting
Sorry to leave you hanging last night. I left work and had the trick or treaters, and then proceeded to get very drunk.
In short, it could be a lot worse. They've decided they can't afford to keep me on full-time at what they pay me (peanuts) so they're making my job part-time, about 30 hrs/week and moving me to a different area. Of course, with the commensurate pay decrease as well.
Bright side is that I think I'll like what they're going to have me doing a lot more than what I do now... and I was already planning on starting a serious job search this weekend anyway. It sucks, but I can deal.

I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
Well, I suppose it could be a lot worse. At least the better practice area will sweeten the deal. And 10 more hours a week to nest! Or job search.
I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't better news. And I hope you find something fulltime soon!
