Update of Jason, I f'ed up & WTF RANT
While he still has to wear the helmet to try to push the prominent side of his face and head back to the right side to even it out and continue with the physical therapy for his torticollis, his CT scan came back promising. She said while she could see the bones were smaller on one side than the other, she also saw that all bones were there (she was afraid he may be missing part of his mandible) Best Case scenario the PT will loosen his neck and he'll start to grow quicker on that side and catch up. Worst case when he's fully grown (about 16) he'll have to wear braces for 6 months, have a 4 hour jaw surgery to extend his jaw and then wear brances again for another 6 months. Until then he'll have yearly check ups. THANK YOU for alll your good thoughts!
On another note during all these mess of appts I forgot to renew Jays registration. He'll now have to spend the day in the lovely registry. He is so not happy with me and I am pissed because we'll probably have to get an inspection that will probably not pass right now since it needs work
and the WTF.....Jay came to pick the boys up from the shop tonight and came in and told me someone side wiped my car. I have been living in a blur lately and cannot even tell you when that happened. He said it must have been between Sat night and today cuz it was not there when we went out of state for my brothers wedding.....no one left a note. Our insurance has a $500 deductible and with all of Jasons expenses that insurance is not paying for this is driving me over the edge.

We all make mistakes. Hopefully it won't be too bad for Jay at the DMV.
The person who sideswiped you probably didn't have insurance. I wish more people were honest about things like this. Sorry you have to deal with this on top of everything else.

For the registration, do you have a AAA membership? I let me registration expire because I lost the renewal slip and was still able to go to AAA and re-register my car. Goodluck!
Make a pregnancy ticker
if you still have the slip, you can mail your registration in (or even do it online if you don't owe additional taxes anywhere). Mine lapsed this year & I didn't realize it until I went to pay DHs in March (mine expired in January). I had no problems mailing in both payments.
eta: I'm glad things look promising for Jason. Medical bills can pile up, FAST. If you have any insurance, you may be able to make an appeal that it's medically necessary for all the testing to be done and get them to pay a little more. I'm currently in appeals with BCBS b/c of NICU claims.

Boo on everything else. As for the registration - he can suck it up for a day, it's life, we forget things, especially with little ones and extra worries!!! As for the a$$hat who hit your car, that totally sucks :-( I'm sorry you have to deal with that!
