Anyone ever have cupcakes from this place or know of a good cupcake place not to far from Lewisville? I need to purchase cupcakes for my husband's birthday dinner this weekend.

    I've never had it but it has been on my list to try for awhile.

    Corinth has a new cupcake place, if it's not too far for you.  NV Cupcakes or something?  It's on the north side of 2181 in the same strip as the Albertsons.

    I know someone who says they like The Cupcakery better than Sprinkles.  While it's not as close as the one in Corinth, there is a cupcake shop in Colleyville now, the same shopping center as Market Street so close to where you got married.

    FWIW, I've also heard that they're better than Sprinkles.

    I've had a Sprinkles one once and we've made them thanks to Williams-Sonoma.  They were both dry and their icing was dry and hard.

    I've only had Sprinkles once and I was so excited to try them because of all the hype. I thought they were okay but not as great as I thought they were going to be.

    I've heard the same thing about Sprinkles.  There's a cupcake shop - The Velvet Shop (I think) off of Preston and 121.  They make really good cupcakes... and cake balls. Yum!

    There is a cupckae place in Flower Mound called 8th Wonder cupcakes.  It is on Long Prarie (2499).  They are really good!

    I really like sprinkles cupcakes. FWIW, I've been to the Cupcakery and its probably the worst cupcake I've ever had. DH and I found it to be inedible. The cake was dry and tasted like the batter had not been evenly mixed. It had a bitter taste. The frosting was sugary sweet.  Bonnie Ruth's in the same shopping center has delicious cupcakes.
