This is a really creative question, and I've given it a lot of thought.
Sadly, I think there is really only one option for me:

I like Kathy's, although I don't think I could pull it off.
Can't I just be like the matriach of a house or something? You know just order people around and throw dinner parties.

I, too, was unsure of exactly what life for women was like in the 19th century. So, like any good scholar, I used the google machine (
) and found this link.
All I know is that I wouldn't fare well. Apparently women were property and were only good for serving a man and providing offspring. Since I don't do well taking orders and I am currently infertile, I would have been worth sh!t.
So, after much research, I suppose my good friend Madame Kathy and I would hang out at the local brothel.
