Mat. Leave & Daycare question
I realize that everyone is different but how long did you take for maternity leave after LO was born and was it too long/ too short/ just right? I can only collect TDI 6 weeks(8 if c-section) and have been told by several people that it won't be long enough- which I figured but not sure how to know how long will be long enough until the time comes, which isn't an option. If it matters, once I do go back to work LO will only be away from either DH or I for about 15hrs a week.
Which leads me to my next question when I do decide to go back....
Any daycare recs for Woonsocket/ Lincoln area? We would only need someone PT maybe 2 days a week. Thanks!

Re: Mat. Leave & Daycare question
This, this, this. I was out for just over 12 weeks and I so wasn't ready. But, it is what it is. But I do know that if I had gone back at 6 weeks, I would have lost it. DS and I were just getting into a good grove at that point and it would have broken my heart if I had to give that up.
I agree that it is never enough time! I got 11 weeks, and it was a good time for us to transition DS to daycare. He was still so young that he didn't go through any seperation anxiety.
No recommendations on a location, as I am in Npt.
I took 12 weeks and it wasn't long enough, so I took in another baby for some extra cash and now I stay home!
I liked Johnston Child Care Center in Johnston and Children's Workshop in Smithfield.
