lunch restaurants near Pearl Spa?
I'm taking my mom for pedicures at Pearl on Friday. We'd like to get lunch beforehand. Are there any good restaurants near there? They don't have to be *right* there but close-ish. Our appointment isn't until 3. And, we'll probably go to the mall in the morning.
Re: lunch restaurants near Pearl Spa?
Ranazul is in the same building @ The Pearl and its really nice - tapas place.
There is another shopping center there on Johns Hopkins Road that has a wood fire pizza place; a BBQ place and La Palapa Too.
Ranazul is delicious. I don't know what their lunch menu is like though. Looney's is across the street from Pearl. It's mostly bar food.
Like Kathryn said - on Hopkins Road, there's Facci, Kloby's BBQ, and La Palapa Too. On the other side of 29, on 216, across from Bloom - there's J & P's (very low key and inexpensive and delicious), a chinese place, and Dunkin Donuts.
Ranazul is awesome but def more upscale. If you want lower key, Looney's is also good. (Hell - I like the food at the bp Market in Maple Lawn if you're in a hurry.
J&P as some of the others mentioned is about a mile further toward 95 and also really great and low key. Facci and La Palapa Too are around the corner around Johns Hopkins along with a few other quick spots. I wasn't impressed with LPT the last time we were there.
If you want to drive a few extra minutes, El Azteca is up the road a bit on Clarksville Pike and has some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Pasta Blitz is in a shopping center right next to there, as is Green Sage, an awesome veg spot owned by the same people who have Roots and Bark.
