what are you reading these days?
I would love some suggestions for chick lit and suspense books please.
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
Re: what are you reading these days?
Right now I'm reading Called Out of Darkness by Anne Rice. It's a memoir. I love her.
Have you read the Hunger Games trilogy? Its Young Adult but definitely pretty suspenseful
my read shelf:
oh i forgot my friend gave me a copy of that last month.
where did i put it???? lol.
The Invisible Wall by Harry Bernstein
Jen Lancaster's books are chic lit and I laughed out loud throughout them all. Bitter is the New Black, Bright Lights Big @ss, Such a Pretty Fat, Pretty In Plaid, and My Fair Lazy - they are true stories from her life and I found them very relatable!
Im reading Big Girl by Danielle Steel, its actually really good so far. I love her books because they are easy to read and i get lost in them.
I have a few books on my waiting list for the library, I think its something by Meg Cabot.
LOL they had a story in the news that Bernie Madoff has become a big Danielle Steel Fan in Jail
my read shelf:
me too, def a good book!!!
I think I'm a nerd. You all read the new stuff. I'm reading old dusty books. LOL
I'm reading for work right now. Washington Irving's History of New York.
The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich is a great chick lit/ suspense combo. They are really fast and easy reads too. The first book is called One for the Money.
Currently reading: The girl who played with Fire.
can they be read out of order? My library has some of them for the Nook but not all. I didnt know if i would be confused if i just tried to read random ones.
I wouldn't. I think you would miss some stuff if you did.
thanks!
I'm taking a reading hiatus because I've read a ton of books in the last 4 months, I'd recommend all of them....most are chick lit, a few suspense and a few romance:
