i get that you're busy during tax time but...

ugh my accountants, again. so they mailed my returns to my IL's house. you'd think the email informing them would have been responded to. nope. last time i complained they said they are busy during tax time. ummmmm... yeah... i can see you telling that to your husband or your kids to explain why you're working a lot. but to your clients? aren't you supposed to have time for them? i am waiting for answers to two questions which i've asked multiple times. beyond frustrated.

  • sometimes accountants aren't very good with actual people. great with numbers and bookkeeping...not so much with real, live people.

    sorry :(

  • Sheesh... Sorry you are dealing with this. They really need to work on their customer service!!

  • You should never use them ever again. They sound awful. Although our accountant that's doing our business taxes still hasn't done our stuff either and we had to file an extension because of them. Maybe it's just all of them at this time??

  • sounds like crap....yes, they shouldn;t be explaining to clients that it's ok to make errors b/c we are "busy this time of year".  We already know that....but we are paying you to get it right.  To me, one hiccup (or 2 maybe) i can look over, but this firm seems like they are off their mark.  Good luck, I hope they can figure out how to get everything to you in time.

Not to add to your taxes headache, but here is my little vent.....our firm found an error in our '08 return (after we rec'd an irs notice saying we owed more $), and now realized that they've made the same mistake each year since, so we are currently filing amendments for 2008-2010.  UGH.

  • Fire em after the tax season and find someone better. they suck.

    oh my gosh, that's AWFUL!!!

yeah i'm just amazed. i mean, i deal with the public too and i have had my share of pain in the neck clients so i try not to be that person, but this is really too much. what ticks me off, too, is i interviewed the lady and hired her, and i have since realized she has had nothing to do with me. all of my stuff has been handled by other people and they are the ones who suck. i hired her, not her flunkies.

last year my person sucked, too, but i was also paying about a 1/3 what i'm paying these jokers. now i wish i had just dealt with the first lady and saved my money since they both suck.
