Tuesday Accountability

So how'd we do this week ladies?

I started out last week strong by eating right & working out, but it kinda fizzled throughout the week. Overall, I'm down 2.4lbs since last Tuesday, so I'm pleased with that.

Nice loss CD! I forgot to weigh myself yesterday (my normal weigh in day) but I am up .4 pounds this week. Considering I spent the weekend eating and drinking nothing but beer and junk I'm content with that. I'm just glad I didn't gain back everything I lost last week. The small gain hasn't messed with my motivation since I know exactly why I gained.

  • Great job, CD!

I had a crappy week. I did some walking while in Ohio, but also had lots of bagels, pizza, cookies, bread, etc. I can feel some weight gain in my theighs, so I need to start doing some leg workouts like squats and lunges in addition to walking. I also want to up my time on the treadmill this week to 60 min/night rather than 30-40 because I am feeling pudgy in non-baby related places.

  • I forgot to weigh myself last week to get a starting point, but I did weigh myself yesterday, so I'll start from there. My official goal is to lose 20lb. In theory I'd like to lose 25, but I think my body shape/tone has changed from the last time I was that weight, and I think 20lb will get me to a happy point.

I also have a cholesterol goal, bec the last time I gave blood it was 190! Soooo I need to get it back down... I'm shooting for 175 or lower by the next time I can give blood, late May.

  • I only worked out once last week, but I still lost 1.8 pounds for a totally of 13.2! I can't help but wonder how much more I would be losing if I worked out more on top of eating better, but it's hard to find the motivation when I'm still losing at a steady rate without it. Hopefully I'll do better with it this week.

  • Great Job, CD!!!

I did pretty good this week. I met all of my workout goals & I think eating went pretty well. DH & I did indulge ourselves Sunday morning at the Metro Diner, but since I had just burned almost 1100 calories on my run that morning I told myself it was mostly ok. Wink My big excercise goal for this week is that I have another 18 mile training run this weekend and I'd really love to do it in 3hrs or less.

I hadn't weighed myself in over a month so I'll use the weight I got Saturday morning as my starting point. The ideal goal is 7-8 lbs...but I'd be really happy with 5. For my body & current weight I think it's going to be a long annoying process.

Nice loss! I'm the same way. I lose pretty consistently if I stick to my points so it's hard to motivate myself to work out. Then if I work out but don't eat that well, I still lose weight. I can only imagine how much I'd lose if I did both consistently!

  • Not a good week for me, but I expected it.  Gained a little bit and weighed in this morning at 126.0.  Considering my parents came in last Thursday and I was at WDW all weekend, I'll take it.
  • I'm down another 2 pounds. I'm really proud of having a few indulgences, but mostly staying "on plan" during our weekend at Universal/IOA. (I mean, come on, I had to try the butter beer!)  This past week I went to the gym once and did a lot of walking on other days.
  • I haven't weighed myself but I'm on my cycle and always up a few lbs. during that week. I have meal planned for three weeks straight now planning mostly healthy meal with a few indulgences. I was a little carb heavy last week but not too bad. I worked out 3 times at the gym, 2 strike zone classes and a boot camp.

  • I didn't stay within my points AT ALL. But I did exercise consistently and somehow I lost three pounds at my WW weigh in last night! I'm going to try and stick within my points this week and I WAS going to try not to drink on the weeknights...but a bunch of girlfriends invited me to HH tonight. Sooooo maybe next week. :)

Nice! I honestly think that one of the positives of WW is that you're aware of how much you should be eating, so even if you're sort of aware of your points you can lose weight. Especially when you first start!

This new program is going to take some getting used to. But I'm thinking hopefully I'll lose even more when I don't end the week with my points in the red.

I agree. It definitely takes some adjustment but when I stick to it, I absolutely lose.

  • According to the scale at my doctor's office, I gained 4.2 pounds in 2 weeks. I am pretty sure someone had their foot on the back of the scale.  In my defense, I was wearing shorts and a tank top when I weighed on 3/25 and I was wearing jeans and a tee shirt when I weighed on 4/8.  Obv. the jeans weighed 4 pounds.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I did go to the gym on Sunday and stretched and walked a little more than a mile and a half on the treadmill.  It's something, right?

Not on WW, but this is one of the reasons I've been loosely tracking. Some days I track, some days I don't. But I'm always aware of how much I'm eating. I feel like when I track, I'm always hungry & less apt to stop eating when I'm full.
