Oops. GTG = royal wedding day.
I just realized I scheduled the GTG on the royal wedding day! Does anyone care? I don't. The festivities will be long over by the time the GTG rolls around so I'm sure we'll all gossip about all the wedding deets!
I for one am excited to see her dress. I love all of her other clothes - I would put my money on her wedding dress being stunning!

When you said the 29th was the day for the GTG, this was the first thing that popped into my mind!
If I make it to the GTG, I am going to be TIRED - - because I'm incredibly cheesy and want to get up at 4;30 AM so I can watch everything live!! Yeah, I know . . . .but I figure I can do so with Skype on and share the experience with the ILs and DH (who will be in the UK then) . . . it will probably just be MIL though as I can't really see FIL or DH caring about such things. But I could be wrong - I never thought they'd be interested in the Queen's Christmas address, but apparently it is solid part of their Christmas traditions.
We'll see - I am not a morning person and when I made the original plan to get up and watch it live, I mistakenly thought it was on a Saturday. Now I know it is Friday and I'll have to then go into work, I'm not sure how wise or realistic my plan is.
I told DH last night that I want him to get me a silly momento from it all - a tea towel or something. He actually agreed! So yes, I am stupidly excited. She is going to be absolutely beautiful!!
ETA: I just got an email from a friend asking if anyone was planning to get up early and watch it - - and if so, would we care to join her . . . so now I don't feel quite as lame!
Ditto. Or I might just get drunk.
Judging
i'm with both of you. i couldn't have even told you when they were going to get married.
we can get drunk and talk about dino jesus.
Hah. Nice. That actually sounds pretty awe-some. :-) I think I could muster up a 5 minute convo about the wedding but probably not much more. I really just want to see her dress. :-)
I just wanted to make sure that people weren't bent out of shape about the scheduling. I guess it's no big deal and I was worried about nothing. :-)
You HAVE to come! You're bringing the name tags!!!!!!!
I'm a little excited for the wedding only because my late grandmother was so enamored with the royal family and had all these videos about the royals, etc. I'm going to watch it in her honor
+1 in the drunk dino jesus camp.
I am a casual pop culture/celebrity gossip user, but I just have zero interest in the royal wedding. No judging to those that do, I just can't get excited about it. I do like Middleton's style though.

As much as I can't wait to see all the funness I am really sad it's on my birthday now every year I will hear all about the wedding on my day.... yes I know I am kinda bitter about it.
