ETA: Aggh, I just realized that we have tickets to Lollapalooza on the date of this boudoir marathon! (It'd a huge 3-day music fest in Chicago). Crap!! I'm guessing it starts at noon, I need to see if I can be first up for boudoir! Cross your fingers it's early!
So I'm seriously considering signing up for a boudoir session in August (during a location photog's marathon session; she has rave reviews on TK).
It'd ideal timing because i'll be tan from summer and also more in shape b/c I'll be in the middle of marathon training.
She offers a $25 knottie discount (reflected in pricing below)....so which package do I get? Right now my hair is shoulder length, slightly bobbed/layer. So I'm sure it could be styled, but I'm not sure how much.
Do I just got all out and get everything since I'm already paying a good amount for pics, why not? Which package do you think?

Ha, I'm not sure where I'm growing the balls to do this...but I figure it'd better now while I'm young, pre-kids and I know I'll be exercising/training this summer!Just do it!!!

This! I want to do this for 1st anniversary too (after all, traditionally it's the paper one), but I so need to lose weight/get in shape as I've been a total slacker and have gained at least 10 lbs since the wedding if not more. I'm hoping I'll have an active summer and I get back in shape. I'm thinking of having a friend actually do the shoot. Not a professional photographer, but somebody that takes decent pictures and I would feel comfortable posing with. I could shoot some of her to give to her bf too. I'm just super self-conscious, especially with being naked/almost naked in front of somebody.

This is my justification of why I HAVE to do it this summer. I won't be training for a marathon, but I'm always in my best shape in the summer and the tan. If I don't do it this year, I most likely never will so I HAVE to. Bleh. lol

I did it. I just called and got the details and BAM. Aug 13th at 10AM. She's emailing me the package options.
I think I'm going to ask my BFF to go with me. She took photos of me a longggg time ago when my xBF was in Iraq so whatever haha She's getting married this July so I may convince her to do it as well and either save it for her 1 year or a Christmas gift or something.

I had my cop friend that is a photographer do mine and he only charges $150 for a sitting, so that is what it cost, and I got my rights to the pictures. I had my sister do my makeup and my friend do my hair, but I would definitely have paid $325 to have all of it done. I looked into someone in RI that does them and it was going to be $300ish and you only got 5 of the pictures and the sitting was only 30 min, and when I looked at her site I was not impressed. So I would say that you are getting a pretty good deal.
