We actually get to go on a real honeymoon! Friday, we had our passports done, so I feel like it's really going to happen now. I'm sooo excited! DH and I have both never left the North American continent, so it will be an adventure for both of us.
We are going to Aruba!!! Woot! And leaving on October 16th (I think that's right) for a week. It will be over a year after our wedding, but I'm glad we get to go anyways. Can't wait!!
Thanks for letting me share. I'm sure you can tell I'm excited

Thanks girls!
Honestly, haha I don't remember exactly where we're staying. We were on 4 watch lists and the resort that opened up called DH's brother because he has the time share account. He told DH who promptly forgot because he doesn't really care. Jeez. That all sounds bad
Playa Linda Beach Resort??? DH has the email of
all our travel info, I will have to look tonight.
Where did you stay? Did you do anything that we absolutely should try?
We stayed at Bucuti beach resort and loved it! I think it's near Playa Linda because that sounds really familiar...
If I were you, I'd skip the Aloe factory, it wasn't worthwhile. We did go see the Donkey sanctuary because the description of it on the Aruba tourism website made me crack up multiple times ( I never knew you could make donkeys seem so attractive). It was fun, but the best thing we did was take a jeep tour over the "wild" side of the Island. Our guide was great and we got to see some beautiful vistas. I still remember the views.
Also, if you're looking for a nice meal (although it is somewhat pricey) go to Windows on Aruba at the Divi all inclusive resort. We made sure to make reservations there b/c we thought "hey...you only honeymoon once, why not live it up!"
If you're looking for a quick lunch, Bob's pizza is right behind Bucuti (and Playa Linda if it's next door like I think it is...). It's affordable and yummy.
I also have pics on facebook if you're my friend. I can't remember. PM me if you want my info!

You'll get to relive being newlyweds! We waited 5 months... and it was so fun!!!
Yes, I have heard good things about Aruba, too. I can't wait to see everything! I will probably take a million photos. And I'll be sure to let you know how it is!
It will be fun to be newlyweds again, too! I already told Kevin that if he wants to act all newlywed-y and try to get 1st class seats, I'm all for it. Hehe I don't know if that even happens anymore, but we'll find out!
