Anyone like to shop here?
I know their products change a lot, but is there anything you like to get here that's cheaper than your usual grocery?
Milk is only $1.79 here, and they have a frozen vegetable stir fry with lo mein noodles we love (I dont add the sauce packet). Pineapple is only 99 cents this week too
Re: Aldi?
Wow, that's cheap milk! The times I've checked ours it's always around $2.79.
I do for some things.
I usually get bread (hamburger buns, sandwich bread, hoagie rolls) pepperoni, old fashioned oats, sliced swiss cheese for sandwiches, and fruits and/or veggies depending on if it looks good and is a good price. I also usually pick up a 2.97 bottle of winking owl wine.
White bread and buns are only .79 at our store!
I dont guess we have one of those around her because I have never heard of it.
Is it a grocery store?

Yup. I think they also own Trader Joe's.
I love the Winking Owl Merlot! I haven't seen it in awhile at the Aldi by me, but I can always find it at Trader Joe's. I go there before I go to the actual grocery store to see if they have anything on my list for cheaper, since stock changes so much. Their Light and Fit brand of stuff is pretty good--especially the pitas/sandwich wraps. Tons of fiber.
Snuggle.
don't feel bad we don't either. Our cheap is going to the farmers market every saturday morning. Or and my personal favorite when my customers bring me their homegrown veggies into my office.
You know, as much into podunk as I live, you would think there would be a kick butt farmers market around. Nope! We had to resort to planting our own garden this year, so I will have plenty in a few weeks. Veggie prices have gone up so high it's unreal! We do have a really good meat market in town that is way cheaper (and WAY better) than the chain markets, and we keep a lot of deer and fish in the freezer, so that helps. But everything else is still costly. I resort to weekly ads and go to the place that is cheaper on what I need that week. What a hassle =(
