Help! I am still Ashley Todd!

So, using long-wear lipstick on your cheek is apparently a really bad idea. I still have a backwards B on my face and I've tried three different facial cleansers including an exfoliating one!

How can I get this off my face so I can go to the grocery store without embarassment?

  • Have you tried rubbing alcohol?

  • OMG, I am LOLing at that picture! ?I don't know how to get that off, but can you put enough concealer/foundation over it?

  • Try putting A LOT of moisturizer on your face, wait about half an hour, and then try washing again with a gentle cleanser.

I'm a professional face and body artist, and sometimes the makeup/paint can stain really dry skin.  Once your skin is moisturized again, it should come off.

If that doesn't work, then I'd go buy some St. Ives scrub.  That stuff is terrible for your skin, but it would definitely help.

  • Thanks ladies, I'm trying the moisturizer right now. The lipstick color was fairly dark, so covering it with makeup isn't going to work...

At least I didn't actually carve it into my face like she did--imagine how long it will be before she can go in public again without being laughed at!

  • I was going to say rubbing alcohol, too.

But, hrparker probably knows a whole lot more than I about this type of thing. ?Take her advice.?

  • If the moisturizer doesn't work, I recommend trying nail polish remover.

  • I've heard baby oil. Probably works like moisturizer. Good luck!

  • The moisturizer mostly worked. There's a tiny bit left, but now it just looks like I have a scratched face, not that I have a Halloween costume gone awry!

  • Try eye-makeup remover.
