How would you handle this (interview related)? LONG.
I have an interview tomorrow for a sales type job (senior living). My previous experience was not as much a sales job as it was an all around do what was needed job.
I was in the private country club industry which was tanking big because of the economy. Our memberships sales were directly tied into real estate sales (which we had nothing to do with).
A year ago and a half ago we laid off our membership director. I was always the back up for this position and actually trained the last 4 people (I was there 20 years).
For this interview they asked that I bring any back up reflected sales etc. Well I was laid off due to the lack of membership sales (again, due to lack of RE sales). No $ = no Straymo position (they laid off controller as well).
I have the sales numbers, but they are not pretty and I have no official report of the numbers since we did not do "sales reports."
What is the best approach? Do I re-do my resume and include those numbers? Or just type something up (how formatted)? I'm lost on this one.
TIA
