Spend time together, or get my workout in?
My hubs doesnt have a gym membership because he has had multiple back injuries from snowboarding that prevent him from really being able to take advantage of a gym. He works out once in a while at home with his weight set. I, on the other hand, do yoga or boot camp classes at my gym to stay in shape. I used to work out 5-6 times a week before we lived together, but now, after work, I have to decide whether to spend time at the gym, or spend time with my hubby. whats a girl to do? I've already cut down how many days I work out to 3x a week. What would you do? Suggestions?
Thanks!!!

I have had a similar dilemma since I got married six months ago. I usually work 12-hour days and if I go to the gym after work, I am too exhausted to talk to my husband by the time I get home. My solution is probably too drastic for you, but I decided to find a more flexible work situation that will allow me to work from home some days and finish earlier on other days. This decision involved a lot of other factors besides more time to work out - I also wanted time to prepare nutritious meals, read or watch TV once in a while, and most importantly, I plan on starting TTC in the next few months. I am not willing to work 60 hours a week once I have a child.
Could you work out both days on the weekend and 2x during the week? That would give you 4 days of exercise plus a few days during the week to hang out with your husband. I also try to schedule my "gym days" on evenings when my husband has work obligations so that we can spend time together on the evenings when he's free.
Working out in the morning is a great solution if you can do it.
