Being on maternity leave with a credit card is probably the most dangerous thing for me. I just ordered presents for my sister and while I was searching for the perfect gifts, I stumbled upon two lullaby CDs that I *HAD* to have for Baby H -- Tribute to No Doubt (my all time favorite band) and Green Day (one of DH's favorites... if they had Dashboard or Nirvana that would have been even better but he'll be psyched). These are all things we don't need, lol.

You are NOT helping my spending problem, lol. Now I have to remember this for Father's Day!!
Muhahahahaha.
I saw a Smashing Pumpkins one too!

When my James was born (in 1992). Ten had just come out by Pearl Jam. I had the standard lullaby tapes. A cool one by Pete Seegar. Another one of this woman singing, I don't remember the name, but she had a pretty voice. I would play some of my Grateful Dead stuff for him at bedtime. But wouldn't you know, the one song that ALWAYS put him to sleep, was Pearl Jam's song "Evenflow". Something about Eddie Vedder's voice did it for him. LOL
it does it for me too
Haha, that's great! I plan to teach this child early about good music (or at least when DH and I think it is), haha. Jack Johnson is another must for baby music!
LOVE Rockabye Baby CDs. I got a great one from Starbucks with 16+ different groups. It was hard to find but one of the best.
I also have Green Day, Queen (our favorite), Metalica, Beatles, Led Zepplin from that collection
