1st parenting class tonight!
I'm excited and kind of nervous too. I'm not really sure what to expect! I hope I don't end up feeling like a bumbling idiot

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
The first two are just basic first time parent things. I guess they go over car seats, breast feeding, etc. The four after that are more about the hospital, L&D and caring for baby.

Cool! We'll have to compare notes....but I am not going to my hospitals classes until May I don't think. Mine are a series of 4 classes (conveniently from 2-3 on Wednesdays...sigh...)...infant care/meet & greet/L&D unit tour/bf'd/and I forget what the last one is...
However, luckily my sister made me an appt w/ her kids pediatrician beginning of May so I can meet, hopefully like him, and cross that off the list. I do think we're going to sign up at a different time/place (since those are for the hospital) for infant/toddler CPR though.

It went well! There were a ton of people there, apparently my town is going through a baby boom! We went over some nutrition, bathing, feeding, car seats, bathing, and lifting safety. We got to practice swaddling and changing a baby doll, and I didn't feel that inept at it after all. The only thing that sucked was the heat was on all day in the room, so it was like 100 degrees. No fun for a bunch of pregnant ladies!
