If I get 1 more wedding invite via FB I'm going to say something rude. Seriously, how tacky can you be? I've gotten 2 this month..i'm not going to either wedding. I mean, call me old fashion if you must, but I'm standing strong on this one.
Re: just a lil rant
Snuggle.
They're both FB 'events" that we were invited to. One of them actually said they weren't sending paper invites at all and the other didn't say anything about paper invites.
T-A-C-K-Y!
Really??? That is pretty tacky.
I get that invitations can be expensive, but Target has a great selection of CHEAP invites....there are other ways than creating a FB event.
Dude... I spent next to nothing on my invites and that included save the dates and thank you cards along with the addresses on the rsvp's printed and return envelopes. All it took was a little research.
That is tacky. IMO it isn't like a birthday party that you send an e-vite to. I did get a FB invite to a wedding now that I think about it. They had gone to the courthouse and were going to 'renew' their vows in front of family and friends then have a party after.
That is so klassy. I wish I would have done that for my wedding!
Actually I am helping host a bridal shower for a girl and she was telling me since they are on such limited budget for the wedding that they were just going to send evites according to her it is the new "it" thing. I kept my mouth shut and clutched my pearls alittle tighter.
HA!
Our Blog!

OMG that was a great line!
LMAO!!!!!!!! Awesome.
That is the norm around here for baby showers is to send an evite.
Weddings I would send an actual invite as it is not that much if you got to Target or Walmart and even get in those fill in the blank ones.
