Soggy Hump Day
Today has not started out smelling like roses. I forgot my healthy snacks for the day, it?s raining, I ripped the undercarriage of my car pulling out of the driveway so that needs to be fixed again, and I had to listen to some fool call information SIX times for the SAME company on the way in on the train. And he stood RIGHT in front of me, a ball of nervous energy, constantly moving. Sit it the eff down! There?s a seat right there where your bag is! Good God. The train station was crazy too, they were taking someone out on a stretcher. Oy oy oy and oy.
I wish I did not have weekend plans. I have a ton of errands to run, and it?s period week so I will be tired.
Last night we went out to eat and to see the Curtis Institute Orchestra play at the Kimmel Center. It was quite good. I thought I?d hate it.
I dropped him at band at 10, let the dogs out and went to bed. He was home at 11, but had no key, so I had to get up and let him in. They he changed and went downstairs. He went out to smoke a cigarette and the door blew shut behind him and he locked himself out so I had to get up again and let him in. hahahah I finally fell out around 12.
Errands errands errands tonight. I need to return to Old Gravy and Walfart and pick up a few essentials at the grocery store: peanut butter, cereal, and milk.

its wet here too, but i dont care since i leave for new mexico today. will be sunny and warm there and i am quite looking forward to it! also looking forward to the foooood.
im exhausted, aside from feeling excited about NM i feel a little sad and mopey probably bc i will miss gerren while i am away.

I usually like Hump Day...not so much today.
We dropped the price on our house for sale yesterday. Just hoping it will actually get some activity/sell now.
NST did not go so well yesterday and now i have an 'extra' doc appt this morning at 11:45 to talk to my OB about 'how' and 'when' we'll deliver this baby. (Guessing he's not coming the normal way which really bums me out).
All the water coming into the house last night was brown so I did not get to finish up laundry, dishes or even cook dinner. At least it's clean this morning, but who knows if I'll actually get it all done.
All in all, it's shaping up to be a craptastic day. Crossing my fingers that things improve as the day goes on...

I'm not feeling today either. My cold got worse overnight last night. I slept from 8-10, woke up to watch my show with H, tried to go back to sleep at 11 but was up ALL night because I couldn't breath with my stuffy nose and I had been chugging fluids all day yesterday so I kept having to pee. It is also my period week this week, so I'm getting a double whammy.
I dragged myself in to work in the rain this morning because I need to finalize and submit the agenda for a meeting on Friday. My part of the agenda is complete. I am just twiddling my thumbs waiting for everyone else to get me the materials I need and it's very annoying. I am hoping to get the agenda out early today and go home afterwards.
I think I'll be stopping to get myself some sprite, popsicles, and mucinex on the way home. I just took Dayquill with a nasal decongestant so hopefully that will keep me going for awhile.
Thanks! I've actually never tried Vicks vapor rub before if you can believe it. I'm willing to try anything to get this crap out of my system!
It is a gloomy day here too. I have killer cramps and I feel just down in the dumps today. Love today!
DH and I found out yesterday that we might be getting a niece or nephew in December. Not really excited (kind of trying not to be) as the dad is BIL who is still in college and his ex-girlfriend (they broke up last week) who is also still in college and recently accepted into a nursing program.
If anyone has advice for them please PM me.

Gloomy here today too. Super tired, pugface woke me up at 4. Tried to get up and workout and I just stared at Jillian thru bleary eyes thinking "I don't feel like squatting right now, b-word!" Ended up showering and getting to work early for lack of anything better to do.
Just blew my no shopping rule out the window and bought a bunch of stuff at LB online. They were having a great sale, got 2 pair of shoes, swimsuit, a shrug, 5 pair of panties and two camis. Very excited, want them now, not in 7-10 business days.

I agree that today sucks. J is getting sick and the past two nights he has gotten up in the middle of the night to go sleep on the couch- guess he can breathe better out there. He is a built in heater, so when he's not there, I wake up freezing!! I'm worried i'm going to get sick too b/c I have the immune system of a baby i swear. It sucks bad.
We're going with a group of friends to see gary allan on saturday and that is the only thing getting me through the week.
Happy Hump Day...not! I don't know why but I am so tired this morning. I fell asleep last night around 10:00 pm. I woke up around midnight and was like oh crap I fell asleep. I had to take my contacts out so that I wouldn't sleep with them in.
I really need to go for a jog today. I love that Richard is home during the eveneings but it has taken away from my "me" time. I'm also stressing because of a family issue, I just don't know how it's going to turn out.
I hope this day goes well...

I feel like crap. I'm all congested and my throat is on fire. And Jeremy isn't even here to baby me (not that he would anyway but still). I got up 23973273 million times last night. I fell back asleep on the couch this morning and had a dream Jeremy surprised me by coming back home (no way he could do that since he's down there without a car).
Last night I finished the shopping for the lingerie shower/bacehelorette party and found a cute shirt to wear in the process. I have to buy alcohol at some point but will get that later.
