Re: Recs for acupuncture pls
Two recs, but neither are all that close to you.
Acumedicine in Silver Spring - I'm seeing them now for migraines, but they also treat infertility and deal with cancer patients, so I'm guessing pain management as well. She takes BCBS standard insurance.
Alec Maines in Bethesda and McLean - also saw him for migraines, and I know he also treats infertility. He offers a discount if you have Carefirst insurance.
Both of them are great and helped me a lot.

"What is a week-end?"
It's way the hell out of your way but I loved Pulling Down the Moon. It's in the Shady Grove Fertility buiding in Rockville. PDTM does wholistic fertility treatment (yoga, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, etc.) designed to compliment whatever treatment you are receiving from your RE. I like it because it encourages a western and eastern medicine approach.
But like I said, waaaay the hell out of your way.
