Since we did PIP early I need a WTF early!!!
So I am >< this close to losing my mind at my job. My coworker's last day was Friday (she was a contractor, so temporary and yet they have no one to replace her right now). So now it is only me and my boss in our department. My caseload is up to 11-12 patients a day at this point. We all knew she was leaving last week yet my boss thought it would be ok to take all of next week off....WTF?????? And doesn't have ANYONE scheduled to cover her. So I will be responsible for seeing every single patient we have on caseload.....and this week she is being particularly snappy with me because of the extra work we have with my coworker gone....I'm like yeah how do you think I feel???? Ugh I just needed to get this off my chest

My WTF is the total opposite of that which is I am so. flipping. bored. at. work. Hence my desperation for a new job, which I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing right now!
Danielle - your employers are totally being crappy, but as I tell DH when he complains about being busy, TRUST ME it is better to be slammed than to sit around and watch the minutes tick by. In my opinion, anyway

Yikes, I am sorry that happened. I had something similar two weeks ago. They fired one of the program managers and said "well we aren't hiring anyone new, so you can do all her work right". I probably made a not so pleasant face when that happened!
WTF - I am so sick of my co workers complaining about how busy they are, but everytime I walk by their desk they do the quick click off the screen as if I don't see the pink Perez Hilton screen disappearing. I am all for going on the internet at work but these ladies do it allll day. Then whine when they have to work long hours at crunch time. I may have a lot of work to do, but I only complain to you lovely ladies about it, never at work. Plus I need my nest time for sanity.
I think this is is Work WTF week!
I have also been bored lately at work, and finally got my physical real estate license, so I can be a manager as soon as something opens! The next spot appears to be closer to Philly and would be a much longer more stressful drive, but likely more $ (would have to be to offset the cost of gas since I spend almost nothing right now, being 2 miles from work).
On the other hand I really really enjoy my afternoon shift where I almost always have stuff to do and my manager there is so much fun to hang with! So WTF I don't know what I'll do when the opportunity to get my own site comes up!!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I am having a WTF kind of week.
WTF...I applied for a job yesterday, and they called me back yesterday afternoon. It was a short phone call only for her to end up telling me I am not qualified for the position because I have never proofed using style guides. WTF lady!!
YTF did AF show up again this month!!!!!!!!! GRRRR...H and I are both getting so frustrated with this process and I still don't have insurance so I am prolonging going to the dr.
and finally...
WTF is up with my tooth?! It started hurting late last week and hurt some over the weekend. This week it's been ok until today. Again, I don't have insurance, so not sure I want to go to the dentist and spend lots of $$$$.
WTF, I have been sick for legit 3 weeks and I'm DONE with it.
WTF - I have stupid training today which is making me miss Zumba. NOT happy
WTF - DH's potential new job is taking their sweet time with getting him an offer package. They are doing a background check and reference check now. JUST HURRY UP WILL YOU!?!?!?!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
WTF is up with my mother assuming that I was going to treat her to the Broadway show we all went to this weekend as a Mother's Day gift... the ticket was $140. I usually give her like a box of candy for Mother's Day. Now she's mad at me because I dared to spend my money on my vacation with my hubby instead of treating her to a Broadway show.
WTF, I was slow as anything at work for months. Now that I finally have the IVF scheduled, I'm being asked to travel nonstop. My poor boss is going to have to cover 2 trips to Europe for me over the three weeks that I can't travel. Plus I'm working with a new team and I don't want them to know what I'm up to, so I've had to just say that I'm undergoing a medical procedure and let them wonder.
I'm an Occupational Therapy Assistant (going back this fall to be and Occupational Therapist) I work in a nursing home/rehab center.
