Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Bicycle benefits
I saw a story on the local news about this an thought I would share as it looks like several cities/towns participate. www.bicyclebenefits.org Basically you get discounts at local businesses if you bike there (you get a sticker for your bike helmet). I wish there were businesses near our new house that participated... maybe I will have to recruit as we are only a mile or two away from a major commercial area.

The university I work for had their "green carpet" awards the other day, where people/depts. were awarded for helping the university to reach the sustainability goal. One of the projects nominated was a bike share service through one of the grad school's libraries. I thought that was awesome. (Even if I was still bitter about our team losing, heh.)
