Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Passport Question
I never changed my name on my passport, because I would have had to mail it to the US Embassy in Canada etc. and I was worried it would be tied up forever.
I just booked 2 flights to Canada to visit DH this summer and I'm thinking I should get my passport changed to avoid any headaches as all of my other IDs/credit cards etc. are in my married name. My only hang-up is how long it will take. For any of you ladies that have already done this, how quickly did you get back your passport?
I don't feel comfortable not having my passport in my possession (I assume I'll have to hand over my old passport) with DH out of the country. If he ever was seriously injured it may prevent me from being able to get to Canada. So if I were to apply for a new passport in the next few weeks, do you think I'd have it before he leaves in late May?
