I have to work a few hours and then the inlaws are taking DH and I out on a birthday dinner to Red Lobster (I love that place!!). DH's birthday is Thursday and mine is Friday....I love having birthdays together like that

I love that it's Wednesday for a change! That means I have to do one more mid-week run (today) and then I get to REST until Saturday, which is a step-down week. Whee!
Tomorrow I'm helping throw a shower for 4 of my engaged running friends (yep, 4--and just found out a 5th is getting married, too!) and the Friday we get to visit my family to celebrate my/DHs bdays.

Agenda: Working, dropping the Jeep off to get some repairs done, then having friends over for mid-week game night.
Fun! What games do you play?
Standard board games usually - Scattegories, Catchphrase, any of the Cranium games, Pictionary, etc. A recent addition we love is Things. Mainly because we are an inappropriate group and enjoy being creative with our responses.
I did the exact same thing in my head this morning. "Awesome, it's Thursday! ....oh, crap, wait. It's only Wednesday. Blerg."
Aw, thanks! It went pretty well, actually. My audience was less hostile than I expected them to be.
I see this and think of 30 Rock/Tina Fey and it makes me giggle a little.

Today's plans:
Figure out how to take down my blinds so i can paint behind them.
Do some painting in my bedroom.
Make an enchilada (new recipie).
Make some baby presents for friends.
Go to the library.
