How often do you get a haircut?
trim, highlights, or dye job..... whatever you do
I drag it out as long as I can... usually about 2x a year. I'm trying to bump it up so I'm going later in the week and it's been 4 months. hah Though I'm just getting a cut no highlights because I just don't have the patience to be there for hours on end. so I'll end up having to go back in a few weeks before the summer probably.
Re: How often do you get a haircut?
before my new 'do i'd go once a year. now i need a trim asap and it's been about 2 months since i chopped off hair.
i actually have embraced the fact i don't straighten hair so my cut is pretty much wash and go or 5 minutes with a diffuser.
My hairdresser is always trying to get me to embrace the curly but I can never get it to look as good as he does. I do not have this thing called a diffuser... maybe I need one.

God it had been forever since my last one, but I got it cut on Saturday. My hair was practically down to my butt! Usually though I get it cut 4 times a year unless I'm growing it out. My hair tends to grow very quickly. I wear it wavy most of the time which is an easy wash, curl serum, and go routine. If I use a diffuser it gets curly vs wavy (I usually only use it in winter months).
Straightening takes me a long time and involves both blow drying AND flat ironing it, so I usually don't do it. I've actually never colored my hair, but will when I get greys. Luckily my mom got grey pretty late so I hope I've got her genes.
I amaze myself because I am so freaking superficial and YET I still only go once a year. Actually, I'm due to go this month. It's been that long. Dayumm.

I also try to stretch it out as long as possible but I see more grey.
I usually go about 4 times a year but will probably have to bump that to 5 or 6 (freakin genes).
And I now relish that time of two hours as my "mom break"
4-5x a year
i'm going next week to see kendra316's recommendation and still need to figure out what i'm doing....
a few years ago, i was going every 6 weeks for highlights and trims and whatever needed to be done. sh!t - it looked fabulous. but was too expensive to maintain. i chose grad school over the maintenance. and then kids. one day i'd like to take a vacation. i miss the fabulous highlights.
When I am blond or highlighten every 2 months.
Hair cut 3 months.
Or I get bored and call friend for "girls night" and we do my hair and go out.
Since I am in the going blond phase every month right now. I got on the 25th for next set of highlights.
Not often enough. I just do cuts, no processing (yet - pesky sneaky greys!) and get them 2-3 times a year. The bad thing about that is by the time I go to the stylist, I usually end up having them take off more than I really want because I've just had it.
I got a cut this week and it is too short. Blah. Oh well, hair grows back.

Hahaha!!! I love this. I'm hopeless at doing anything fun with my hair so i know where you're coming from.

me too, pony tail it is.
I usually go 2x a year for a cut and color - when my color grows out it isnt too different from my natural so it doesn't look terrible.
