F*ck

I'm doing a newsletter for the Foundation for the first time (they've never done any sort of cultivation before I started) and the Board decided they wanted to have it printed in color and professionally.

My computer is so GD slow and I was in such a hurry to send the file to the printers that I sent my 2nd to final pdf to the them instead of the final. The changes to it are so minor that it is definitely sendable, but I am having it reprinted anyway.

Son of a b!tch I wish I was a better detail person.

  • This stuff happens sometimes...I've been there!!!

  • At least your changes from the 2nd to final are minimal. I can't tell you how many screwed-up things were sent when I was with my old job. One time, we sent a mass acceptance e-mail to students who weren't accepted. Yeah...that was a big CF.

I'm sure it'll be fine! Snaps to do you for doing the newsletter in the first place! :)

  • I designed a 36 page newsletter once, magazine style. Oh, I designed it twice, but I'm talking about the first time. Night before it was to be sent for printing, I packaged it up on my computer, all perfect. Then my boss came in after me to make some minor changes and in the process he created 3 mistakes. He packaged it up and took it to be printed the next morning before I got to work. I didn't know he'd made these changes, so I wasn't looking for his mistakes when we went over the proofs - I was looking to see that the right pictures were in the right places and things like that. I didn't notice the changes/mistakes until all 20,000 or whatever were already printed. So mad. I *am* a details person. I don't think anyone besides me would have noticed the mistakes though.
