In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

House Update
I just wanted to say thank you very much for all the house dust/nestie vibes on our house offer last week! Though unfortunately, after a long and emotional week, our contract was rejected by the sellers. 5 offers went in the same day as ours. We actually ended up withdrawing the first low-ball offer from Wednesday due to a unique situation, and re-submitting a much higher offer on Sunday. The house was obviously a very popular pick for a number of reasons... the house had not even been listed for a week. Though we are definitely pretty bummed, the house was pretty much perfect (not to mention my former boss, who I have a great relationship with, is the current owner), we are confident our realtor will help us find something that is right for us. It's been a great learning experience for us as first-time home buyers. We've been able to take a step back and re-eveluate what we're looking for within our price range and re-evaluate our 10-year plan. God I love my husband, he's been the rock throughout this situation. Maybe this is a good thing!
We went last night to see about 6 more houses, and really liked one of them. Going to see 2 - 4 more tomorrow night... 2 of them have awesome potential to be "the one" so we are excited about that, trying to be realistic and not too optimistic this time.
Anyways, just wanted to say thank you and give you girls an update since we had so many awesome Nestie vibes coming our way. I will definitely keep you posted as the process goes along... You girls are the best!

That is a bummer the house fell through. When we were house hunting our first house ended up falling through too, and it was so disappointing. But we ended up finding out current house and it all worked out perfectly.
